The Love "Æ, 애 , 愛" Scarf

This scarf is a cherished knit from memory.

It's inspired by the words my mother always says around October, the month my grandmother passed: "If your grandmother had known you, she would have loved you so much."

The Love "Æ" Scarf is my way of giving that love form. "Æ" (애) means love in Korean, and I have designed this scarf as symbol of love that my grandmother would have shown love to me.

I designed this pattern to be sturdy and soft, achieving the kind of deep comfort and warmth that a loved one would have knitted just for you.

Materials: 145 g Gepard Woolia (50 g =132 m)

Gauge: 14 STs x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm (Stockinette Stitch) on US 8: 5.0 mm needle
